Sablefish is a versatile white fish, known for its large petal-like flakes, highly valued for its exceptional ability to retain moisture after cooking. This makes it a perfect choice for grilling, frying, smoking and pan-searing, and it is wonderful when roasted with the skin left on. Our Gindara Sablefish is raised in the oceanic waters of Kyuquout Sound, British Columbia in partnership with the Kyuquot First Nation Tribe, who raise the fish from egg and sustainably farm them in ocean waters.
This fish is fully gutted and cleaned prior to shipment.
