Richly fragrant and exquisitely balanced, these black sesame seeds present the satisfying caramelized sensation of roasted seeds with none of the typical bitterness. Though darker and more complex than white sesame seeds, these still make for an excellent substitute in virtually any preparation. For an untraditional twist, we love to add these to panna cotta, though they're equally well suited to sprinkling over silken tofu.

Use & care
Although black sesame seeds have an even stronger and more complex, nutty flavor than the white variety, they are a good substitute in any recipe. We love grinding these and sprinkling over silken tofu or adding to panna cotta for an untraditional twist.
