

A Calamondin, also known as a Calamansi, is a hybrid fruit - think half mandarin orange and half kumquat. This citrus is completely edible, with bright orange skin and only slightly bigger than a quarter in diameter. The fruit has a thin, sweet peel while the inside flesh is juicy, sweet with a sharply sour bite. Calamondin are especially delicious for baked goods, jams, and refreshing beverages.
